Computer Gaming: How to build an onramp

This procedure can be used in either SimCity 3000 or SimCity 3000 Unlimited.

  1. An onramp requires a straight portion of highway. It cannot be near a curve or a dip or hill.

  2. An onramp requires 5 tiles straight on the side of the highway.
  3. An onramp requires a road passing underneath the highway or right up to it.

  4. Choose the onramp tool and then place it so that it is along side the highway and one end touches the road. The drop shadow will turn blue when you have it positioned correctly.
